I just wondered how to dispose of the new cfc bulbs we are using. I understand they contain mercury?

Can we run our car
with water and gas? 

Can anybody tell me is the HHO Gas is real
working or is another scam?

I would like to build a new home, green and all.  I have some ideas I would like to use.  How do I find a "green" architech to help.  I love Earthships but I live in Florida and cannot find anything spec for our area/soil and rain.

I just received in the mail, a letter from the NRDA (Natural Resources Defense Council), about the plight of the Polar Bear.

The letter also has the plea and endorsement of Leonardo DiCaprio.  It is reassuring that some of bigest stars and celebrities put their time, effort and money into the things on our planet that need the attention of us all.

I am saddened by the facts I read and frustrated knowing how quickly it is happening.  Making donations is a start, but it seems overwhelming to me.

Does anyone have any experience with PCMs?

In numerous episodes we have seen Ed employ the old "Free, Take Me" sign and then placed something at the curb.  A much better way to do this is to use your local FreeCycle online network.

Have something perfectly good but don't want it or need, FreeCycle it rather than added it to the growing trash heap..

Need something but don't really want to go buy a new one and waste more reasources.. look on FreeCycle or better yet ASK and you probably will recieve.

We live on a 53 ft 1998 Harbor Master houseboat on the Mississippi River in St. Paul, MN.  The entire upper deck is one level and could have a canopy installed that will support solar panels.  We are interested in seeking assistance, both financially and technically, to convert our home to solar /diesel / electric.  We would like to go as green as possible. 

Any suggestions?
