Magnetic Zero Point Systems
Submitted by Mark on Wed, 12/26/2007 - 12:55.
Magnetic energy conversion systems that prove practical are likely tapping the Zero Point Field (a
previously uncommercialized source of energy). Such devices are likely to replace batteries of every variety and are often wrongly dismissed
by scientists. Many remain unaware of the little recognized fact that a magnetic
gradient is an untapped source of potential energy.

Need battery information
Submitted by ellenfauna on Sun, 08/26/2007 - 19:23.When my husband mentioned that we were planning to purchase a Prius, he got this response from a retired Mobil/Exxon employee: "Well, you know that the battery in a Prius pollutes more than the BIG Hummer." Can someone give me facts/figures to refute this type comeback? Thanks.

EVs Pure Electric Vehicles
Submitted by jstack6 on Fri, 05/25/2007 - 06:14.There are some great new all pure electric vehicles just coming out on the market. They aren't your old automakers attempts to make a vehicle they don't understand. The most advanced part of thse is that they don't use old 150 year old technology lead acid batteries. The best all use lithium-ion batteries.
Some of the new EVs are the Tesla , eBox by ACPropulsion and Phoenix Motorcars SUT. These are expensive but are very advanced. The goal of all of these vehicles is to make enough to be able to reduce the cost and range.

Hybrid Batteries
Submitted by Naida on Wed, 04/04/2007 - 19:02.I just purchased a Toyota Prius and had a few questions from battery experts out there. I understand that the cost of the hybrid's batteries exceeds what we would all save from using a gasoline vehicle and purchasing gasoline. Don't get me wrong, I also drive my Prius for the health of our environment, but was wondering if this was true. Is our battery technology getting better to where this cost comparison will no longer be a factor?
