Re: Honda Civic Hybrid vs. Toyota Prius

I used to own a mild hybrid Honda civic. It's ok but not half the car the Prius us. Here are a few reason why.
-The honda can't run on electric alone, the prius can.
-The prius ICE gas engine runs in the otto cycle making less pollution.
-The Prius back seats fold down for big space to carry items.
-The Prius can be come a plug-in hybrid. PHEV
-The prius has a lower C/D Coefficient of Drag .26 vs .32 which adds up to better mpg at higher speed or wind.
-The Prius out sells honda 3 to 1, so resale is higher.
-The 03-05 honda air cond condenser shut off when in idle stop. The Prius never does.
-The Prius will have lithium batteries in 08 and get about 90 mpg.
I love my Prius Smiling and have had 80 mpg on a round trip to work and back of about 40 miles. The best Honda mpg I got was 74.
