More news on future electrics coming soon to the USA. TH!NK said it may start selling the TH!NK City with enerdel (stock HEV) American lithium batteries as soon as 2009. BWM also confirmed it is working on a pure electric vehicle.
As Athena mentioned here recently who needs a 2 ton highway speed vehicle. Some of these new electrics as made for the city and speeds of 40-50. They could go a little faster at time but are really meant for short medium speed trips to the store, school etc where you don't want or have to go 70 mph.
Some of the new micro cars like the smart and this TH!NK as much better sized for the task. No 4 tons SUV's are required.
