There is truely no need to fix the planet. To quote the late, great Carlin:
The planet will be fine -- it's the people that are f@#!$!@#'d
And of course a significant portion of the flora & fauna (cockroaches apparently will be fine).
We need to fix ourselves, in order to save ourselves. Put in the 'save yer own butt' perspect you get a broader appeal...
